MAIN MENU The Detroit Red Wings Interactive Yearbook is designed to be fun to use, and so simple it is impossible to make a wrong selection. So explore the options by placing the mouse pointer over any object and clicking. Refer to the following areas found on this menu or the general options, which can be found throughout the Yearbook: FanRageous Select this option to view the new Hockeytown video, a Video Salute to You, “The Fan,” Big Goals and Huge Saves video; or to listen to the players answer questions. ‘98 - ‘99 Roster Choose this option to learn all about your favorite Red Wing. Stanley Cup Celebration Choose this option to view videos from the celebration after Game 4, the Stanley Cup Parade, the Stanley Cup banner raising, or the rally. Road To The Cup To relive last season’s events and playoff series, click the Road To The Cup option. Extreme Sports The Extreme Sports option will take you to the Big Hits and many of the season’s best fights. General Options These are options that are in most of the sections and operate the same all through the Yearbook. Red Wings Logo (Upper Left) Click on the “Red Wings” logo in the upper left corner to get the following options. Main Menu - Return to the Main Menu Section Names — Take you directly to that section Help - Display this help screen Quit - Exit the Yearbook Red Wings logo (Bottom Center) If you have an Internet provider, clicking the logo will link you to the latest information on the Red Wings Web Site. Selection Bar Navigation Moving the cursor over any of the seven icons at the bottom of the screen will highlight the icon. Clicking on any of the icons will highlight it and make it the current selection. To move the selection of seven to the right or left by one, simply click on the appropriate right or left arrow. Video Controls While viewing a video, you can either enlarge or decrease the size of the screen by selecting the “+” and “-” buttons, respectively. The video may also be turned on and off by selecting either the “arrow” to play, the “bars” to pause, or the “square” to stop.
